Apple Cheddar Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Fresh crisp apple slices, melty sharp cheese and whole grain toasted bread…add a simple salad and dinner is done!
- To build sandwiches, spread 4 slices of bread with mustard and top evenly with ½ the cheese, apple slices and the remaining cheese. Top with second slice of bread. Butter the outside of the sandwiches.
- Cook in a large skillet over medium heat 3-4 minutes until bread is golden brown, flip sandwiches and continue cooking 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers.
