The only thing Dad likes more than steak is bacon – so wrapping bacon around a steak might be the best Father’s Day meal around! Try pairing it with Dad’s favorite IPA.

  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. cracked black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. dried garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp. dried onion, minced
  • ⅛ tsp. dried coriander
  • ⅛ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 4 (5 oz. each) beef tenderloin steaks
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

  1. Mix salt, pepper and seasonings together in a small bowl; set aside. Pat steaks dry; wrap bacon slices around edge, securing with a toothpick.
  2. Heat gas grill to medium-heat or charcoal until ashes are white.
  3. Brush steaks with oil and season with salt mixture. Place on grill, cook 10-12 minutes, turning once or until internal temperature reaches 145°F or desired doneness. Allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers.
