Nothing completes a holiday meal like popovers fresh from the oven. The addition of Beecher’s cheese takes these over the top.


  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 6 oz. Beecher’s Flagship Reserve or cheddar cheese, grated


  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Generously butter 12 popover pan cups.
  2. Place buttered popover pans in the oven for 5 minutes. Meanwhile mix together butter, eggs, milk, flour, salt and cheese. Pour into hot pans, filling each cup about half way. Bake 22 minutes; do not open oven door while baking.
  3. Remove from oven and poke the top of each popover with a sharp knife to allow steam to escape. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers.
