Topped with an egg, any food becomes brunch worthy! Especially this burger served on an English muffin with hot sauce spiked butter.

  • 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 English muffins, split and toasted
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked
  • 4 eggs, fried

  1. In a small bowl mix together butter and hot sauce; set aside. In another bowl mix together beef, salt, pepper and garlic; divided into 4 patties.
  2. Heat a grill pan or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add burger patties to the pan and cook 5-6 minutes, until browned, flip and cook an additional 4-5 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Top each with a slice of cheese; remove from heat and allow to rest briefly.
  3. To build the burgers, butter each toasted English muffin with hot sauce butter on top and bottom. Place burger patty on bottom of each English muffin half. Top each with a slice of bacon, a fried egg and the top of English muffin. Serve immediately.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers.

Try adding avocado slices, tomato or spinach to customize each burger.
