Description
For a warming but healthy meal try this Indian spiced chickpea stew served over brown rice.

Directions
- Melt ghee in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and jalapeno; cook 3-4 minutes to soften. Add spices and continue cooking, stirring occasionally 1-2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and water, working up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Add garbanzo beans and simmer 10-15 minutes. Add lemon juice and salt; adjust seasoning to taste. Refrigerate leftovers.
