Sweet, salty, crunchy and chewy – this trail mix has it all to keep you on the go.


  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2 cups mini pretzel
  • 1 cup dried apricots, cut in half
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup salted shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toasted coconut chips


  1. Heat oven to 300°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and butter or spray with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl whisk egg white until frothy; add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Add almonds and pretzels and mix gently to coat. Transfer to prepared pan.
  3. Bake 30-40 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes, until crisp. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Mix pretzels and almonds with remaining ingredients. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
