Dry rubs aren’t just for ribs; they can also add great, bold flavor to salmon. Pair this with Boom Boom Syrah.

  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
  • 4 (5 oz. each) wild caught salmon filets, patted dry

  1. Mix together brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic and cayenne. Rub top of salmon filets with mixture; allow to stand for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  3. Oil grill grates and place salmon, skin side down. Cook 6-8 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork and internal temperature reaches 145°F. Refrigerate leftovers.
