Grilled Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Sauce

A quick blanche before grilling ensures Brussels sprout perfection – tender on the inside, roasted on the outside!


  • 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 6 (6-8" each) bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 20 minutes
  • 1 lb. trimmed Brussels sprouts, cut in half if large
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. Kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper


  1. Mix together mustard, mayonnaise and honey in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add Brussels sprouts; cook 2-4 minutes until slightly tender and bright green. Transfer to an ice bath to cool; remove and dry.
  3. Toss Brussels sprouts with oil, salt and pepper. Divide evenly between skewers.
  4. Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  5. Grill Brussels sprouts, turning occasionally 8-10 minutes or until well charred. Serve with mustard. Refrigerate leftovers.
