A little butter and lemon is all you need for a spectacular feast when king crab legs are on the menu! Jumbo king crab legs come precooked when you buy them, and getting them ready to serve is simple. Remember to thaw them out overnight before cooking if they came frozen. Serve with drawn (melted) butter and a few squeezes of lemon, plus the sides of your choice!


  • King crab legs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 lemons, sliced


  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Put crab legs in a single layer in a roasting pan with water.
  3. Seal pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and serve crab legs with drawn butter and a squeeze of lemon.
