Overnight oatmeal is an easy, healthy way to start your morning …plus your kitchen will smell like apples and cinnamon!

  • 2 ¼ cup Butter, melted
  • ½ cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 3 tsp Cinnamon, divided
  • pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups Organic Applesauce, unsweetened
  • 4 Cups Organic Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 3 Cups Whole Organic Milk
  • 3 medium Apples, gala or granny smith, quartered, cored and thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • Additional Toppings, if desired (raisins, craisins, pecans, walnuts, granola, cream and maple syrup)

  1. The night before, brush a ceramic 9”x 13” baking pan with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Mix the maple syrup, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, applesauce, rolled oats and milk together in a large bowl and pour into the baking pan.
  2. Arrange the sliced apples on top of the oatmeal mixture and mix the remaining melted butter with the remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and ½ cup brown sugar. Pour over the sliced apples. Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F and remove the oatmeal dish from the refrigerator while the oven heats. Bake the oatmeal dish until topping is bubbly and melted and the oats are heated through, about 30-35 minutes. Serve warm with additional toppings as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
