Pumpkin pie meets hot cocoa in this cozy, creamy concoction.


  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • For each serving

    1 cup whole milk
  • ½ oz. bourbon or rum, if desired
  • Whipped cream, if desired


  1. In a microwave safe bowl combine white chocolate chips and cream. Microwave 1 minute; stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals until chips are melted; stir until well blended. Add pumpkin, spice and vanilla; mix well.
  2. To make a cup of cocoa, place ¼ cup of pumpkin chocolate mixture in a serving mug. Heat milk to scalding; pour over chocolate and stir to combine. Add liquor if desired and top with whipped cream.
  3. Refrigerate leftovers.


Store pumpkin chocolate mixture in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
