Description

Perfect for not-quite in season green beans – toss with olive oil and roast until tender with crisp edges. Finish with orange zest and toasted hazelnuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb. green beans, washed, stemmed, patted dry
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. Kosher salt
  • ¼ ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. orange zest
  • ½ toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. On a sheet pan toss beans with oil, salt and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes until slight shriveled and starting to brown.
  2. Top with orange zest and hazelnuts; stir to combine.
