Eggs and spring go hand-in-hand and everyone loves a deviled egg. These are dressed up with a garnish of smoked salmon and dill.


  • 6 eggs, hard cooked, cooled and peeled
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. chopped dill
  • ½ tsp. capers, drained, rinsed and chopped
  • ¼ tsp. dry mustard powder
  • 2 oz. smoked salmon
  • 12 small sprigs dill


  1. Split eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks to a bowl; place whites on a serving platter.
  2. Add mayonnaise, dill, capers and mustard to the yolks; mash with a fork until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag.
  3. Pipe yolk mixture into each white. Top each egg with a small piece of salmon and sprig of dill.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers.
