Description

The sweetness of sweet potatoes contrasts nicely with a bit of spice and heat…grill them up for a smoky finish!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. sriracha
  • 2 medium (about 1 lb.) sweet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into ½” thick rounds
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Mix yogurt, honey and sriracha in a bowl; refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Heat gas grill to medium-heat or charcoal until ashes are white.
  3. Toss sweet potato rounds with oil, salt, garlic, cumin, pepper and cayenne. Place on grill, cook 10-15 minutes, turning once until tender. Serve with honey sriracha sauce.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers.
