Strawberry & Avocado Toast
An unlikely duo makes for an irresistible sweet and savory breakfast or afternoon treat!
cut into thin slices (approximately ½” wide)
- In a small saucepan, stir together balsamic vinegar and honey and place over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer until the vinegar mixture has reduced to ⅓ cup, about 10 minutes. Set the balsamic reduction aside to cool.
- Slice your avocado in half, remove pit and then cut into cubes. Scoop it out and use the back of a fork to smash it on toast.
- Add sliced strawberries and drizzle with balsamic reduction.
If you're looking for a smidge of indulgence, add crushed dark chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt.
